"Arya wouldn't have been able to survive in KL" is really one of the dumbest fanon takes where you can tell someone only believes it because they like the idea of Arya and Sansa being "exact opposites and perfect complements" (even though it goes against the books). Actual evidence from the books to back it up? Never anywhere to be found despite how confidently people make this claim.

And not only does it severely mischaracterize Arya and ignore what she's been through, it also ignores her importance as a political hostage. The Lannisters weren't searching for her, and lying about having her, for no reason. They needed her because having only one Stark after executing Ned put them in a poor position to negotiate. So Arya would have been more than capable of handling herself (thoroughly shown in her Harrenhal chapters) and the Lannisters would've done everything in their power to keep her alive but, somehow, she wouldn't have been able to survive? It's truly one of those takes that falls apart if you think about it for more than two seconds but apparently, that's too much effort for some people.

Wyllstarion regency AU where the Szarr Household is composed of the seven spawn, but they're actually seven 'street rats' that Cazador took in as children off the street in a 'great experiment' to see they could be shaped into members of high society. Society views it as insanity, but is also praising his efforts to aid the lower class without knowing the amount of abuse the children have gone through in their 'lessons.' It's all just a ploy to boost his social status and reputation.

Cazador moves them to Baldur's Gate at the start of the courting season for their family debut, and Astarion's role is to try to marry off his 'sisters' to eligible bachelors and establish their family name. Maybe find a noble to seduce himself. Rumor has it that Duke Ravengard's son might finally be looking to wed this year, but, to Cazador's frustration, he's quite elusive all night.

Astarion finally slips away from the festivities for a breather and some wine... only to find the Duke's son outside, seemingly with the same idea.

And well... if he makes a connection with the Duke's son instead of his sisters... technically Cazador is getting what he wanted, right?

Anyways I've been writing and watching Bridgerton again.

After re-reading the manga (again), for the first time I’ve realized that we don’t see this tale unfold from Nic’s perspective, despite this manga being about Nic and Worick’s story.

The story is told through various character perspectives. Alex, the stand-in for the reader. Worick, our morally grey protagonist (whose motivations and true feelings aren’t entirely revealed at this juncture). Marco Adriano, Lorietta, the Destroyers, we get glimpses of the story through their eyes as well.

Nic has only a few panels from his perspective, just a small handful, across eight volumes. Most of these are concentrated at the end of volume eight, after Worick purports to break the contract (and even then, it’s mostly through Nina’s eyes). We have so little insight into how Nic feels and how he is truly responding to his world falling apart.

There’s so much we don’t know about Nic because we can only view him through other characters’ perceptions, all of them heavily biased. What’s going on in his mind? How does he truly feel? How would he tell his own story?

We might never know.

ghost rei, while using the kids’ spiritual energy for something (we haven’t yet learned what this energy is for) genuinely wanted to protect the children from a world that’s made up of lies

and ghost rei’s ultimate goal in all this was to free himself from the unknown in a sense. if he learns why he was created and what he was meant to do, he can use that to shape his own goals and his own world and unchain himself that’s bound to data

something i thought was neat was how in order help ghost rei’s pass on peacefully (lol) about the kids navigating reality, he pointed to sasara and rosho actually. to rei, these two are adult figures the youth can rely on

sometimes i think about sullivan and how his n iruma’s relationship progresses and what made him choose iruma. i mean it was probably something to do with delkira that made him pick iruma up but i also think about that comment he makes early on in the series, that the others in the 3 greats have grandkids and he doesnt and how hed love to have a grandkid. and how he sends iruma to babyls partly because thats what a proper caretaker is meant to do. and how at the beginning maybe hes playacting and thinking yes this is the boy i have brought over for unspecified reasons, My Grandson, and i am the Grandfather (yay!) but its only later on that The Grandson becomes Iruma Suzuki first and then Sullivan’s Grandson second. and then i get happy about it

like, i get it’s a flashback chapter, but we hardly got to see her as chizuru in the previous few chapters thus far… maybe we’ll get to see more of her as her true self after the hiyori fight/make up? only future chapters may tell, i guess…
